About the Institution

St. Aloysius Pre-University College, founded in 1971 and located in Cox Town, Bangalore, is part of a longstanding educational tradition that has served the field of education for nearly 80 years through a group of school, PU, and degree institutions.

Administered by the Archdiocesan Board of Education, the college is committed to providing high-quality, affordable, inclusive, and value-based education, with special concern for minorities and students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

EMBLEM: The college emblem reflects a rich symbolic tradition: the burning torch represents the divine spark and the light of knowledge; the Cross stands for struggle, pain, triumph, and victory; the lotus symbolizes enlightenment and purity; the star signifies divine guidance and fulfillment; and the book represents knowledge and wisdom.
